The final book, The Record Speaks, is out November 24

The cover of The Record Speaks

The Record series ends with a fifth book. The Record Speaks comes out on Kindle and in paperback on November 24, a week after The Record Burns. That makes five books in five weeks, starting with The Record, which is out now.

The archive is ash. By the first of May the District’s own clerks must carry Wren’s mother to the barges, or the Line carries nothing, up or down, for good. On that morning eighteen thousand people will fill the round hall at the water for the capital’s last hour, every one of them watching Wren’s mouth.

Twenty-nine days. One bell. One last room.

All five books are on the series page and at therecordseries.com, which now has a map of the District.
